Working with architects and designers on casino projects is a natural fit – both in terms of the natural, local stones, the engraving and aesthetics.
This project was performed for the Spirit Mountain Casino in Grand Ronde, OR of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde. The project involved coring and preparing a large natural slab as a sculpture base at one of the entrances into the casino facility. I was asked to be available on site during the installation to ensure any last minute fitting requirements, but – as is my usual aspiration and practice – my services were not needed. Everything fit perfectly! Zero punch list items. My all-time, favorite compliment.
